Who This Applies To
This protocol is only for people who:
Submitted a claim on or before January 13, 2023, AND
Still have missing information that hasn't been provided
This is NOT a new claims process - it only helps complete existing claims that need additional details.
What's New (Key Changes) That Could Affect GFN Members
1. Representatives for Deceased or Incapacitated Claimants
If a claimant passed away or became unable to manage their affairs between January 1, 2025 and June 27, 2025
Their Representative can still provide missing information
Deadline: Written notice must be sent to the Claims Administrator by March 9, 2026
After notice is received, more time will be granted to submit the missing information
2. Missing or Outdated Addresses
If you submitted a claim before January 13, 2023 but haven't heard back, the Claims Administrator may not have your current address
Deadline: Update your address anytime before June 27, 2027
Important Deadlines
March 9, 2026: Deadline for Representatives to send written notice (deceased/incapacitated claimants)
June 27, 2027: Deadline to update address information
