May 2026 Harvesting Support Initiative

Gitga’at Members in Community, the May 2026 Harvesting Support Initiative is running May 7 to May 22, and we want to make sure you know how to access it.

Due to current fuel costs, the program has been adjusted this month. Support is capped at $750 per household, with GFN covering all but $1.00 of your fuel bill, you just pay the difference.

Here’s how it works:

Let her know how many litres of gas or diesel you need.

She’ll walk you through payment options and prepare a voucher to present to the HBF dispatcher.

The program ends May 22 at 4:30pm
