Gitga'at Development Corporation is hosting private, confidential meetings with a lawyer for community members who may be eligible to file a claim under the Boarding Home Class Action.

Who This Is For

The Boarding Home Class Action is for Indigenous People who were sent to live in private homes so they could attend school, between 1951 and 1992. If this happened to you, or to someone you know, you may be eligible to receive compensation.

What You Could Receive

Eligible claimants can receive between $10,000 and $210,000, depending on their individual circumstances.

How to Get Legal Help

Jacob Hadley, a lawyer working on these claims, will be available for confidential, one on one meetings. You can reach out ahead of time to book an appointment, or simply drop in.
