The BC Parks Student Ranger Program (SRP) is officially accepting applications for the 2026 season and this year’s postings are live until January 12, 2026, at 11:00 PM (PST).
If you’re a student looking for meaningful outdoor work, hands-on conservation experience, and the chance to spend your summer making a real impact, this is the opportunity for you.
About the Student Ranger Program
Launched in 2018 with support from the BC Parks License Plate Program and Project Learning Tree Canada, the SRP provides students with high-quality, on-the-ground experience in parks across the province. Student Rangers take on a wide variety of projects — from trail maintenance and ecological restoration to visitor outreach and educational programming.
It’s designed to be more than just a summer job. It’s a pathway into conservation, leadership, and community stewardship.
