About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Laboratory, the Laboratory technologist is a key member of the
laboratory team. The laboratory technologist will assist in developing, validating and
implementing laboratory test methods to support lab sample testing for operational

support. The laboratory technologist will also contribute to developing the laboratory
quality, safety manual and establish EQP standards.
The laboratory technologist will follow all lab safety protocols and contribute to
maintaining safety and address safety issues when they arise. The Laboratory
technologist will perform day to day activities such as perform routine and adhoc testing
of process samples and finished product certification.
The Laboratory technologist will ensure lab instruments are calibrated and maintained
for optimum performance and will troubleshoot lab instruments when problems arise. In
addition to this, the laboratory technologist will maintain lab consumables supplies,
